Description
Selank + Semax Combo — Neuropeptide Pair for CNS Research (10mg + 20mg)
What is this combo?
This combination pack contains two synthetic heptapeptides widely used in neuropeptide research: Selank (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) and Semax (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro). Both peptides are derived from naturally occurring regulatory sequences — Selank from tuftsin and Semax from ACTH(4-10) — and are studied for their effects on the central nervous system.
Selank is investigated for anxiolytic-like (anxiety-modulating) properties and its influence on the enkephalin and serotonin systems, while Semax is studied as a nootropic peptide for cognitive enhancement, neuroprotection and BDNF-related neuroplasticity. Together they provide a complementary research toolkit for CNS peptide studies.
Mechanism of Research Interest
- Selank — Anxiolytic-like Activity: Studied for modulation of anxiety-related behaviour and interaction with the endogenous enkephalin degradation system.
- Selank — Serotonergic Effects: Research examines effects on serotonin metabolism and turnover in brain tissue models.
- Semax — Nootropic Activity: Investigated for effects on learning, memory and attention in behavioural research models.
- Semax — Neuroplasticity: Studied for upregulation of BDNF and modulation of synaptic plasticity markers.
- Combined Research Value: Provides both peptides in one pack for comparative neuropeptide studies and protocol flexibility.
Research Applications
- Anxiety and stress behaviour research
- Cognitive function and memory studies
- BDNF and neuroplasticity research
- Neuropeptide pharmacokinetic comparison

- BDNF Focus: Semax component studied for BDNF upregulation and neuroplasticity.
- Behavioural Research: Both peptides used in anxiety, stress and cognitive behaviour models.
- Protocol Flexibility: Two compounds in one pack for paired study design.
Reconstitution Guidelines
For experienced laboratory personnel only. This lyophilised powder must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water prior to research use.
- Allow the vial to equilibrate to room temperature (15–25°C) before reconstitution.
- Wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry.
- Using a sterile syringe, add the required volume of Bacteriostatic Water by injecting slowly down the inner wall of the vial — do not aim the stream directly at the lyophilised cake.
- Gently swirl the vial until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake vigorously, as this can denature the peptide.
- Visually inspect the reconstituted solution — it should be clear and free of particulate matter.
- Store reconstituted solutions at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe defined in your research protocol. Discard any unused solution after the recommended period.
